This Hatfield Resident's kitchen walls were
dark red with a low amount of natural light
during the day. Linoleum had been removed,
revealing wood floors with water stains. A light
fresh color scheme was chosen with a white
pickled stain for the floor. The client chose a
16x20 print of Radiant with Charms to hang
above the stove.

This warm honey
colored effect was
achieved through
a glazing technique
called colorwashing. It
was repeat-
ed on three walls and
the accent wall was
painted a deep terra
cotta to complete an
earthy feel.
